    Description

Mickey's Surprise Party Minnie Mouse Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1939). Mickey's Surprise Party was an animated short that debuted in 1939 at the New York World's Fair as a promotional short for Nabisco. Since then, it has often been edited to suit the snack products in question. It is also notably the first cartoon to feature Mickey and Minnie's 1939 redesigns. Offered in this lot is a fantastic original production cel of Minnie Mouse. Production art of Minnie from this time frame is very hard to find. The cel is hand-inked and hand-painted on 16 field acetate. The cel is paired with a hand-painted presentation background and in a frame of 25" x 19.5" with a mat opening of 14.75" x 10". Frame sold as-is. Artwork condition is Very Good.
