DescriptionMickey's Service Station Peg-Leg Pete Color Model Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1935). Pete's car engine rebels against him after Mickey, Donald, and Pluto do their damage, in this hysterical original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing, which served as a Color Model for the engine. The short was directed by Ben Sharpsteen for a 3/16/35 release; it marked the first teaming of the three main stars. Villain Pete is drawn in graphite, measuring about 5.25" x 3", while the car engine is in graphite with nice yellow, red, blue, and green highlights; it measures about 3" x 3". The number 53 is written in the upper right corner. Minor handling wear; Fine condition.
