DescriptionMickey's Service Station Peg-Leg Pete and Car Engine Layout/Color Model Drawing (Walt Disney, 1935). Pete is being chased by his car's runaway engine in this original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing. Ben Sharpsteen directed this black and white short, which was released on 3/16/35. The drawing shows Pete at the conclusion of the short, after Mickey's crew has done their "repair" work; Pete is in graphite and red pencil, measuring 5.25" wide by 4" tall. The engine is graphite with added red, yellow, blue, and green penciling, and is about 3.25" tall. The number 54 is written in the upper right corner. Fine condition with light handling wear.
