Description

    Mickey's Service Station Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck Animation Drawings Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1935). Splendid trio of original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings of the three stars from this Ben Sharpsteen-directed short, which was first shown in theaters on 3/16/35. This was the first cartoon to team Mickey Mouse with Goofy and Donald Duck, as well as being one of Disney's final black and white animated shorts. The first drawing is of Mickey as he works a jack; the image size is 3" tall, with the number 127 in the lower right corner. The second drawing features Goofy with a hammer, image size is 4.5", numbered 70B in the lower right (and 69B directly under Goofy's feet). The third piece features a long-billed Donald with an oil can, image size 3", numbered 216 in the lower right. All are in graphite with red pencil (with added green pencil highlights on Donald's page). Some mild paper toning and handling wear; overall Fine condition.
