DescriptionMickey's Service Station Background Layout Drawing (Walt Disney, 1935). "At your service! You break 'em, we fix 'em... and how!" says Mickey, Goofy and Donald Duck. This was the first short to team the three together and was also one of Disney's last black and white cartoons. Here is remarkably detailed background layout drawing rendered in graphite on 8" x 18.5" paper with the characters loosely drawn over it in blue and the image bordered in red. A studio stamp indicates the animator's name, scene number with assorted handwritten notes above and below it. There is also a "Walt Disney Prod." stamp in bottom left corner. This is truly a one of a kind artifact from the early days of Disney animation. The paper has been folded in the center, shows handling and pinholes: otherwise, condition is Very Good.
