Description
Mickey's Mellerdrammer Horace Horsecollar and Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1933). Mickey perform as Topsy while Horace Horsecollar portrays the evil plantation owner Simon Legree in the barnyard production of Harriet Beecher Stowe's classic "Uncle Tom's Cabin." This rarely shown Wilfred Jackson directed black and white short was released to theaters on 3/18/33. The lot contains a pair of production drawings in graphite on 12-field, 2 peg hole animation paper. A wonderful pair of production drawings from a long-forgotten Disney short. All exhibit minor handling, toning, and edge wear; otherwise Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
