Mickey's Man Friday Background Layout Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1935). The fort that Mickey Mouse builds with the help of his native friend Friday is featured in this detailed background layout drawing from the David Hand directed short released on 1/19/35. This exceptional drawing was rendered in graphite on a sheet of 12 field paper. Attached onto the reverse is a rare studio production note labeling the production number 2241 Scene 52 and animator Clinton. "Mickey's Man Friday" is written in red at the upper right, and SC #52 is written in graphite at the bottom.
