    Description

Mickey's Kangaroo Mickey Mouse and Kangaroo Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1935). Here are two wonderfully detailed production drawings from Mickey's last black and white short. The first is a full-figure of Mickey in graphite, measuring 2.75" x 2" and numbered 16 on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper. The second is of his Kangaroo, with baby "Joey" in her pouch measuring 5.5" x 4.5" on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper. It has various animators notes to the right of the image and is numbered 201 in the lower right corner. Rendered in graphite and colored in red and yellow pencil suggests that while released in black and white, it may originally been planned as the first color short. Both pieces show minor handling and edge wear; otherwise Condition is Fine.
