Description

Mickey's Gala Premier Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1933). Good ol' Pluto never lets you forget he's all dog. Here Mickey scolds him for stopping to sniff a tree as they enter Grauman's Chinese Theatre for their star-studded film premier. The second drawing shows Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow running from a throng of fans. These are both original 12 field, 2-peghole animation drawing from this Bert Gillett-directed short. An interesting note about this cartoon - on September 1, 1939, Mickey's Gala Premiere was the last show aired by the BBC Television Service before broadcasting suspended during World War II and was the first show aired when service resumed on June 7, 1946. The paper shows minor handling with age-related toning. Overall Very Good Condition.
