Mickey's Gala Premier Mickey, Harold Loyd, Charlie Chaplin, and William Powel Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). Hollywood's top stars rush to congratulate Mickey on a successful premier in this original animation drawing from the 1933 star-studded Disney short. It was directed by Burt Gillette and featured an array of caricatures of Tinsletown's biggest names of the day. This was the very first cartoon in which mickey interacts with humans. Presented is an original animation drawing of him at the 6:29 mark as he receives kudos and handshakes from none other than silent stars Harold Loyd, Charlie Chaplin and The Thin Man himself, William Powell. The 8" x 4" production art is rendered in graphite with the characters numbered in red on 12 field 2-peghole paper and numbered 435 in the bottom right corner. This incredible piece is sure to catch the eye of not only Disney collectors, but those of Hollywood's Golden Age too. Nearly 90 years old, it shows minor handling and condition is Very Good.
