    Mickey's Elephant Mickey Mouse and Elephant Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney 1936). Mickey makes a new friend in Bobo the Elephant in this Dave Hand animated short. The adorable Bobo originates from the Mickey Mouse newspaper comic strip, and his notable appearance in this short marks the only time he has been animated. The first drawing in this group features Mickey in full-figure measuring 2.5" x 4" and has the number 122 in the lower right corner. The second drawing depicts Bobo the Elephant measuring 4.5" x 3.5" and has the number 44 in the lower right corner. Both are drawn on 12-field, 5 peg animation paper in graphite with red highlights.
