Mickey's Circus Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1936). Mickey Mouse introduces Captain Donald as his next performer with a dramatic and exciting pose. Mickey is a circus ringleader in this 1936 short Mickey's Circus, and he plans to amaze his audience with the acts that he has in store for them. This image depicts Mickey as he announces the next act: Captain Donald and his trained seals! This moment can be found at about the 0:40 mark of the short. This fantastic, full-figure original animation drawing features an image of Mickey measuring about 6.25" x 3.25". The piece is created with graphite and red and green pencil on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. It is labeled with J.B. 50 in its lower right corner. What a dynamic pose! The drawing is in Very Good condition, with just minor handling and edge wear and some age-related toning.
