Mickey's Christmas Carol Collector's Plates Design Art Group of 8 (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). Eight original drawings created for the Knowles set of collector's plates, originally issued in 1992-93. All art is in graphite and blue pencil on onionskin paper; circular border diameters are 12", with art extending past the lines. There are two versions of one design, featuring Mickey at his work desk; the final design (titled "Bah, Humbug!") included Uncle Scrooge, but these are solo Mickey. Five pieces follow the finished design, minus the wreath border. Titles are "Yuletide Greetings" (with Mickey and Donald Duck); "What's So Merry About Christmas?" (Mickey, Donald, and Scrooge); "Marley's Warning" (Goofy and Scrooge); "A Cozy Christmas" (Mickey, Minnie Mouse, mice children); and "A Christmas Surprise" (Scrooge and Tiny Tim). An alternate version of "A Christmas Feast" (Mickey, Minnie, mice children) is also included. Edge wear, with outer border tears and clipped corners; Good condition.
