Description
Mickey Mouse Club "I'm No Fool" Production Cel Setup (Walt Disney, 1955). "Oh, I'm no fool, no siree, I want to live to be 93" sang Jiminy Cricket in his hosting role for the Disney educational cartoon segments "I'm No Fool." These short films were shown during the Mickey Mouse Club television series. Original Mouseketeer Leader Jimmie Dodd wrote the song lyrics. The segments covered topics like safety with bicycles, fire, water, and having fun. It was revived in 1973 for another episode. This is a rare Disneyland Art Corner trimmed production cel setup of two cavemen. Each caveman is from a different short and are not from the same segment. The cels are on a print background for presentation purposes. They are in the original mat sold at the Art Corner Store located in Disneyland. The original Walt Disney Productions gold sticker is on the back. The mat measures 13.5" x 12" with an opening of 9.5" x 8". The caveman on the left is in Very Good condition. The caveman on the right with glasses; the white paint is cracking and will require restoration. The artwork condition is Fair to Good.Auction Info
