McDonald's and Others Outdoor Scenes Concept Drawings by Wes Cook Original Art Group of 4 (Setmakers, c. 1970s). A serene forest, a Western plain with rugged cliffs in the background, and a pair of Cape Cod-style images of boats and a lighthouse are nicely illustrated in graphite on onionskin or thin white paper by the great Wes Cook, who passed away in 2005. The first piece is noted as "McDonald's Shoot Set" as is of the wooded forest background image; paper size is approximately 24" x 19". The second is the Western scene, noted as "Mural for Kevin Caldwell," with an image size of 9.75" x 3.25" on paper measuring 19" x 10.5". The two "Cape Cod" drawings are both listed as "Scenic Background - Outside Window" for Revere House, with image sizes of 10.85" x 6.5". Paper sizes for these last two drawings as 14" x 11" each. Three of the four are folded; the McDonald's piece has edge wear along the bottom. All include minor handling wear. Good to Very Good condition.
