Mary Poppins Street Walk Layout Drawing (Walt Disney, 1964). "Why do you always complicate things that are actually quite simple?" asks Mary as she takes Bert and children Jane and Michael into the street walk chalk drawing. This is a magnificent 16 field 3-peghole layout drawing of Mary, Bert, Jane, and Michael as they first enter the animated sequence. Stunning artwork from the hand of longtime Disney Art Director and layout and background artist, Mr. Al Dempster. Detailed graphite and charcoal layout drawing, taking up 15" x 8" on the 16 field paper. One of the single most detailed pieces of artwork we have seen from this film. Minor handling and edge wear, tape on borders with pinholes in corners. Very Good condition. From the Joe Hale Collection.
