    Description

Mary Blair The Little House Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1952). "Once upon a time there was a little house, on a little hill, way out in the country." This is how this heartfelt Disney short begins, with narration by Sterling Holloway. The short was directed by Wilfred Jackson and released on 8/8/52, featuring animation by Marc Davis, Les Clark, and Clair Weeks. It also had some backgrounds done by Claude Coats. What a powerhouse crew! This is a rare Mary Blair concept painting of the "Little House," in gouache on board measuring approximately 8" x 8". This scene would be seen at the 3:51 mark in to the short. Very rare to find any artwork from this charming short. Minor handling, pinholes in corners. Very Good condition.
