Mary Blair Peter Pan Captain Hook and Smee Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1953). In 2009, Dave Barry and Ridley Peterson released a Children's book titled Walt Disney's Peter Pan that was illustrated only using Mary Blair concept paintings for the making of this film. This piece is some exceptional Mary Blair concept art from the scene where Captain Hook and Mr. Smee attempt to lower a bomb down into Peter Pan's hiding place in Neverland... an attempt that almost kills Tinker Bell! Those fiends! The 8" x 6.5" image is created in tempera and watercolor on illustration board. It is handsomely matted and glass front framed to 17.5" x 16". In Fine condition.
