    Description

Mary Blair Fantasia Sequel "Baby Ballet" Concept Art (Walt Disney, c. 1940-41). Fantasia was such a smash success for Walt Disney that he immediately began planing a sequel using more music segments. This idea never reached fruition during his lifetime, but was eventually realized with Fantasia 2000 many years later. This is a rare piece of original Mary Blair (1911-1978) concept art created for the planned "Baby Ballet" segment for the original sequel. The outstanding pastel on paper image measures 9.75" x 7.25" and is Plexiglas front framed to 17" x 14.5". The two toddling toddlers measure 4.25" tall each. An exceedingly rare piece of Mary Blair's fantastic art and in Fine condition.
