Mary Blair Cinderella Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1950). "It's like a dream! A wonderful dream come true! It's more than I ever hoped for!" says Cinderella to her Fairy Godmother as she enters the coach and heads off to the ball. This is an original oversized concept/Color Key painting featuring Cinderella's sparkling coach on the road to the Ball by Disney artist and color stylist Mary Blair. Ms. Blair was one of Walt Disney's favorite artist and actually hung one of her paintings in his office. The detail in this artwork is astonishing and includes small silhouettes of The King, Grand Duck and the Prince as they await their guests in the castle doorway. The magnificent 20" x 10" gouache on board painting showcases the Castle, surrounding village and Cinderella's coach with the moon shining brightly overhead. Minor surface scruffs and handling, with pin holes in corners. Condition is Very Good.
