    Mary Blair Alice in Wonderland Original Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1951). "Why you're a cat!" exclaims Alice, "A Cheshire Cat" he replies, as voiced by Sterling Holloway. This scene-stealing character is first seen when Alice runs into him on a tree and she is asking for information to help find the White Rabbit. She is instructed to try the Mad Hatter or March Hare. This is an outstanding one-of-a kind Mary Blair (1911 - 1978) concept painting of Alice meeting of the Cheshire Cat (who can remove and stand on his head at any time!). Large oversized Mary Blair original concept painting. Gouache on board measuring 19" x 9". Amazing images of these characters. Pinholes in corners, with minor handling and edge wear. Overall Very Good condition.
