Mary Blair Alice in Wonderland Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1951). "Little oysters, little oysters? But answer there were none! And this was scarcely all because, they'd been eaten! Every one!" sing Tweedledee and Tweedledum to Alice in the telling of the the Walrus and the Carpenter story. This is a stunning original Mary Blair concept painting of the Walrus as he sits down at the dinner table with the baby oysters. The brilliant colors in this charming piece really make it extraordinary. It's painted in gouache on an 8" x 9" board, and is signed on the lower right corner. There are pinholes and some minor handling wear. Condition is Very Good.
