Winnie the Pooh Maquette (Walt Disney, c. 1970s-80s). Very rare and highly desirable Walt Disney Studio Winnie the Pooh maquette. Winnie the Pooh made his first appearance in 1966, and has been an ongoing theatrical and television property since then. In 1940, Disney's Character Model Department began creating animation maquettes designed to give 3D reference for every department in the making of animated films. Even in today's modern age of animation, this tradition is still being carried on. This is a beautifully detailed, unpainted maquette, with a figure size of 5"; approximate overall size, including base, is 3.5" x 5.25". Fine condition, with very minor handling.
