    Description

Peanuts Snoopy on his Doghouse Sculpture (United Features Syndicate/Austin Sculpture, 1980-90s). Snoopy's doghouse was almost a character in its own right from its numerous appearances in the Peanuts comic strip and animated features. It housed everything from a Baby Grand Piano, to an indoor swimming pool, as well as provided a prop from which the WWI Flying Ace battled the Red Baron. In a poignant multi-week long strip arc, it even burned to the ground... eventually replaced by Charlie Brown. This very hard-to-find licensed Austin Sculpture produced piece features one of the most iconic images of this beloved series in brightly colored 3-D! It measures approximately 13" x 14" x 23", and with only a few paint chips, is otherwise in Fine condition.
