Description

Oliver and Company Dodger Studio Maquette (Walt Disney, 1988). "Why should I worry? Why should I care? I may not have a dime, but I got street savoire faire!" The streetwise mongrel Dodger (famously performed by rock star Billy Joel) is featured here in this wonderful hand-sculpted original maquette created by the Disney Feature Animation Department as a model reference for the animators of Oliver and Company. A very rare artifact from the production of the modern classic interpretation of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist, this maquette is 7.5" tall with a base size of 7.5" x 4". The piece shows minor handling wear with very light debris, and the condition is Very Good.
