Mr. Bug Goes to Town C. Bagley Beetle Studio Maquette (Max Fleischer, 1941). Here's the villain of this delightful animation feature, the second (and last) from once-mighty Fleischer Studios (which at one time eclipsed Disney in popularity), in an extremely rare original studio-used hand-painted resin maquette. C. Bagley Beetle and his henchmen Swat the Fly and Smack the Mosquito steal the songwriter's check that will save the "Lowlands" area that all the bugs call home, which sets up the film's drama. Bagley stands (or rather leans on his cane) for an approximate size of 8.5", including the base. Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
