    Description

Dumbo and Timothy Disney World Maquette by Harry Holt (Walt Disney, c. 1960s-70s). When Harry Holt returned to Disney after his Hanna-Barbera stint, he went into WED as a Chief Designer, Sculptor and Art Director. He did a series of sculpts of several Disney characters to be used as props on television, and for use at Walt Disney World. Here is Mr. Holt's hand-carved clay sculpture of Dumbo, with little Timothy riding along on his hat. Size of the piece, not including the base, measures 9.5". The 7.5" x 8" black base is hand-signed by Harry Holt (1911-2004). This is an extremely delicate piece; one of Timothy's ears has the clay broken off, revealing the metal foundation underneath. The maquette was never painted. Good overall condition. Will require third party shipping. From the Harry Holt Collection.
