Description
Disneyland 15-Year Service Awards Group of 2 (Walt Disney, c. 1970s). Here's a pair of original solid bronze Disney theme park 15-Year Service Awards, given to Disneyland Cast Members only. It features a solid bronze sculpture of Sleeping Beauty's castle mounted to a wood base with a triangular, mirrored back. The plaque on the base indicates that it was presented to Cast Member John J. Murphy. The piece measures approximately 10" x 6.25". The second award is an early version and has a slightly different design without the mirror backing. We have not seen this design before. The award stands 8" tall and was presented to Cast Member Dick Korn. Cherished by family members and highly prized by collectors, very few of these awards ever come up for sale. Condition is Very Good with handling and edge wear.Auction Info
