Disney Auctions Exclusive - Dumbo Limited Edition Big Figure #113/250 (Walt Disney, c. 1990's). "Boy, them city folks is sure in for a surprise!" The magnificent Dumbo holds his "magic feather" and "soars" over the Big Top in this Disney Auctions Exclusive Big Figure inspired by Walt Disney's Dumbo! Disney Big Figures debuted in 1989 with a simple release of the "Disney Standard Characters" Mickey, Donald Duck, Pluto and Goofy. However, Disney retail branches expanded the collection to include exclusive and limited-edition figure releases based on popular feature films, issued through The Disney Store, The Disney Catalog, and Disney Parks. Walt Disney's Dumbo was released in 1940 and is remembered for its music and themes that resulted in the most financially successful animated feature film to be produced by Walt Disney Studios. This Big Figure is comprised of a figure and a base and salutes the power of friendship and "believing" and reimagines the climactic scene when Timothy Mouse experiences Dumbo flying. This impressive figure was released through Disney Auctions is #113 of 250, was sold out and "retired" and has long since been sought after by fans and collectors. Measuring 13" x 21" x 20", this Big Figure is in Fine "as new" condition, and is accompanied by its original polyform foam packaging and 15" x 24" x 25.5" shipping box.
