Aladdin Rajah Maquette (Walt Disney, 1992). Here is a very RARE studio maquette of Rajah. It is marked #7 on the bottom. The maquette was hand-painted for "The Art of Aladdin" auction held in New York on October 9, 1993. This was lot #256. Painting was done by Disney's Ink and Paint Department, located on the studio lot in Burbank. Rajah stands 8" tall on a base of 12". Maquettes are extremely rare and important part of the animation filmmaking process. Rarely do you ever see maquettes come up from this film, and with the new Disney+, interest in animation is at an all-time high. The maquette comes in a custom crafted wood box and Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney. Fine condition.
