Description
Aladdin Jasmine Maquette (Walt Disney, 1992). This is a very rare original studio maquette of Jasmine. It is marked #20 on the bottom. The gray maquette was hand-painted for "The Art of Aladdin" auction held in New York on October 9, 1993. This was lot #256. Painting was done by Disney's Ink and Paint Department, located on the studio lot in Burbank. Jasmine stands 10.5" tall on a base of 3.75". Maquettes are extremely rare and important part of the animation filmmaking process. Rarely do you ever see maquettes come up from this film, and with the new Disney+, interest in animation is at an all-time high. The maquette comes in a custom crafted wood box and Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney. Fine condition.Auction Info
