    Description

"Steamboat Willie" Mickey Mouse Disneyana Limited Edition Bisque (Walt Disney, 1992). The very first Disneyana Convention was held in Orlando Florida in September 1992. It showcased a multitude of high-end collectibles that were only available to conventioneers. Each convention since this one has a convention Limited Edition Bisque convention theme statue. This is the very first Disneyana Convention bisque ever released. It was Mickey Mouse in his debut performance as Steamboat Willie, released in an edition of ONLY 600 pieces, which sold out at the convention within hours. This one was hand-signed by the artist of this piece, Mr. Mark Delle, who dated it 9/26/92. Of all the convention bisques, this is the single-most difficult one to find. It is also the lowest edition of all of them. This very limited edition statue measures 9" x 7" x 11". Hard to believe this was released over 25 years ago! Very Good condition.
