DescriptionMake Mine Music "The Martins and the Coys" Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1946). "The Martins and the Coys" was the first segment of the anthology film Make Mine Music. In it the popular radio vocal group The King's Men sings the story of a Hatfields and McCoys-style feud in the mountains and how it is settled when two young people from each family fall in love. Offered in this lot is an original hand-inked hand-painted production cel of the Martins from the start of the story at the 1:11 mark. The overall character image measures 12.5" x 7.5" on a trimmed cel setup that is presented over a print of the original background. Very little original artwork exists from this animated musical and a complete image of this quality is a Disney collector's dream. It is in a 21" x 13.5" frame under Plexiglas with a mat window of 17" x 9". Minor handling and condition is Very Good for this nearly 80-year-old production cel. Frame is sold as-is.
