    Description

Mad TV Yogi Bear and Alfred E. Newman Pitch Art (Hanna-Barbera, 1993). In the early 1990s Mad TV and Hanna-Barbera explored the idea for a project with the working title, "The Death of Ranger Smith." Although the project never came to fruition, the artwork generated is fantastic! Presented in this lot is a superb illustration showing Yogi Bear and Alfred E. Newman exchanging money while a lifeless Ranger Smith is strapped across the hood of a truck. Boo Boo looks puzzled. Mad TV was a sketch comedy television series originally inspired by MAD magazine. Rendered in ink on paper of 13" x 9.5" and affixed to a 14" x 11" board. Extremely rare pitch art from Hanna-Barbera. Condition is Fine.
