Little Lulu Opening Title Original Artwork (Famous Studios, c. 1943-1948). Here's a rare one! This is the original artwork for the opening title sequence of the Little Lulu cartoon series. Between 1943 and 1948, Lulu appeared in 26 theatrical animated shorts produced by Famous Studios for Paramount Pictures. Paramount went on to create a similar character, Little Audrey, after failing to renew the Lulu license (and therefore avoiding the payment of royalty fees). This exceedingly rare artwork is seen in the opening title sequence for each cartoon. The artwork is hand-painted on 12" x 9.5" board. The piece exhibits edge wear with light smudging.
