    Description

Little Hiawatha Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). Little Hiawatha was one of the breakout stars from the Silly Symphony shorts and spun off to star in both a syndicated comic strip and comic book series. This is an original 12 field 5-peghole production drawing of the young hunter who has a hard time keeping his pants up. Dave Hand directed this short, which was released on 5/15/37. The full figure image measuring 5" x 3.5", is rendered in graphite with red and green pencil highlights, and the page is marked 84 in the lower right corner. The piece shows minor handling; otherwise condition is Very Good.
