Description
Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner "Missed Again" Limited Edition Cel #75/100 (Warner Brothers, 1981). Since most Warner Brothers production cels from Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) shorts having been thrown away, and with the success of his 1978 Neiman Marcus Christmas Catalog limited edition cel, he began creating limited edition cels to be sold as Fine Art. The early ones were extremely low editions and boasted hand-prepared airbrush and cut-out backgrounds which were made one at a time. This is one of those early Jones editions, dated July 1981, titled "Missed Again." It's an edition of only 100 and this is #75. This cel has been sold out for over 35 years and rarely comes up for sale. Condition is Fine.Auction Info
