Trigun Vash "H.T." Opening Sequence Production Cel with Matching Animation Drawing (Madhouse, 1998). Vash is ready to take aim in this outstanding production cel and matching animation drawing that you can practically hear from the opening of the acclaimed 1998 anime series Trigun! From the memorable opening featuring the song "H.T." or "Human Typhoon" based on Vash's nickname, this frame appears around the 0:24 timestamp as Vash pulls his iconic 45 Long Colt revolver from his pocket. The weapon is easily the most recognizable in the series while simultaneously playing into one of the most interesting aspects of the story: exploring how Vash stays true to his pacifist ideals on an unforgiving desert planet with new enemies at every turn. The hand-painted image takes up nearly all of the 12 field cel at 10.25" x 8.5" while the graphite with color pencil animation drawing measures a roughly 10.5" x 8.75" image area on the 12 field sheet; both are marked A7 in the top right. This incredible cel of the protagonist and his weapon from his unforgettable opening are in Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear, faint paint debris, and hints of restoration.More information about Madhouse Artist.
