Treasure Planet John Silver and Jim Hawkins Employee-Exclusive Limited Edition Cel #89/96 (Walt Disney, 2002). Fantastic hand-painted limited edition cel from Disney's Treasure Planet featuring our adventurous protagonist Jim Hawkins alongside the wily cyborg cook-turned-pirate John Silver. Created exclusively for Walt Disney Feature Animation employees who worked on the production and never sold to the public, this employee gift honors the studio's 43rd full-length feature in the Disney Animated Canon. Inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, the film follows Jim's leap from restless dreamer to sky-sailing hero after a fateful encounter with Billy Bones points the way to the legendary world of Treasure Planet. Hand-painted at the world-famous Walt Disney Ink & Paint Department in Burbank, the cel captures the iconic mentor-protégé pairing, their expressions alive with wonder and wary camaraderie. Jim and Silver share an image size of 13.25" x 8.75", set against a high-quality printed background. Numbered 89 of only 96 created, it carries the Walt Disney Feature Animation stamp at lower left and includes a Disney COA. Presented in a Plexiglas-fronted 21.75" x 14" frame.
