Tom and Jerry Show/Tom and Jerry Kids Gag Cartoon Cel and End Credit Cel Group of 2 (Hanna-Barbera, 1975/1990). This is a true Tom and Jerry fan lot. First is a cel created from an original newspaper cartoon by Frank Menier (1919 - 1998) that pokes fun at the outcry over cartoon violence in the 1970s. It is titled "A Tribute to Hanna and Barbera" on top right and is inscribed on bottom "Enough of this senseless violence, Tom -- let's sit down and watch Starsky and Hutch or Kojak!" Nice images of Tom and Jerry measuring approximately of 1" and 5" tall on a 12 field cel over brown paper backing. The second piece in the lot is a hand-painted "The End" production cel with a timing sheet from a 1990 episode of Tom and Jerry Kids. Its design was based on the 1940s ending tile of Tom and Jerry at MGM Studio. These are two really unique and one-of-a-kind Tom and Jerry pieces. They exhibit minor handling wear; otherwise condition is Very Good.
