The Ren & Stimpy Show "Crash Landing" Ren and Stimpy Limited Edition Cel #54/300 (Nickelodeon, 1993). These two space cadets better hold on tight! Presented here is the long sold-out hand-painted limited edition cel "Crash Landing" #54/300 featuring the titular heroes of The Ren & Stimpy Show. Part of a short series of limited editions, "Crash Landing" was released in 1995 and directly inspired by a scene in the nineth episode "Marooned" (which debuted on October 6, 1991) spotted near the 1:52 timestamp when viewed online. Hand-painted to half-figures seated in their rocket's cockpit, the spacefaring duo share a combined image area of 8" x 5.25" including their chairs and hand-inked helmets. The 12 field unpunched cel is paired with a faithfully recreated photographic print background for display purposes. The cel bears a Nickelodeon seal in the lower right and is hand-numbered 54 of only 300 cels produced; a Nickelodeon CoA is also included. This is the first time to-date Heritage has offered "Crash Landing" so don't miss out on this rare limited edition which has been sold out for over 30 years. With minimal handing and edge wear, overall these rare space cadets are in Very Good condition.Auction Info
