    Description

    The Magilla Gorilla Show Press Release Animation Art Group (Idea Toy Corporation, 1964). This is the press release sent out by the Ideal Toy Corporation to announce they had invested in the creation and release of the Magilla Gorilla Show. The press release reports that they spent $30,000,000.00 on him. No wonder he stayed on sale in Mr. Peebles shop so long. This group includes the original envelope (yellowed, worn, some glue discoloration, Good condition); a letter from Ideal Toys (Excellent condition); and a four page booklet, the center fold has a pop-up of Magilla himself. The last two pages introduce Mush Mouse, Punkin' Puss, Ricochet Rabbit and Droop-a-long Coyote (Excellent condition). Booklet, envelope and letter all measure approximately 9" x 12".
