The Last Claw Tweety, Sylvester, and Spike Limited Edition Cel Signed by Virgil Ross 146/500 (Warner Brothers, 1996). Here is a wonderful limited edition cel signed by legendary cartoonist and animator, Virgil Ross (1907 - 1996). The piece is based on the 1948 Merrie Melodies cartoon short, "I Taw a Puddy Tat", directed by Friz Freleng and featuring the incredible voice talents of Mel Blanc (1908 - 1989). This limited edition cel captures a classic confrontation between Tweety, Sylvester, and Spike. The cel was hand-inked and hand-painted on acetate of approximately 11" x 19" using original artwork by Virgil Ross. The cel is hand-numbered 146/500 and signed by Mr. Ross. Paired with the cel is a lithographic reproduction on acid-free paper of the original background. The piece is enclosed in a Plexiglas-fronted frame of 18.25" x 26" with a matboard aperture of 9.75" x 17.25". Frame sold as-is. Condition is Very Good.
