The Hunchback of Notre Dame Quasimodo, Victor, Hugo, and Laverne RARE Employee-Exclusive Limited Edition Cel #AP5 (Walt Disney, 1996). "Give me one day out there. All I ask is one." A rare limited-edition artist's proof cel featuring Quasimodo with his loyal gargoyle companions Victor, Hugo, and Laverne from The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996). Numbered Artist Proof 5, this exclusive piece was created solely for Walt Disney Feature Animation employees and never sold to the public. Hand-painted on a 16-field acetate by Disney's renowned Ink & Paint Department in Burbank, the cel recreates the touching moment at approximately the 14:34 timestamp, as Quasimodo sings longingly to his stone friends about his dream of venturing into the world beyond Notre Dame's walls. This special edition cel was produced as a tribute to the studio team who worked on the film-one of Disney's earliest features to incorporate extensive digital animation. The piece is paired with a photographic reproduction of the scene-matched background and bears the official Walt Disney Feature Animation seal in the lower right corner. An exceedingly scarce collectible celebrating one of Disney's most ambitious and emotionally rich animated films. Includes a Disney Certificate of Authenticity. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
