Description

The Hunchback of Notre Dame Phoebus and Esmeralda Employee-Exclusive Limited Edition Cel #102/108 (Walt Disney, 1996). After a friendly sparring session, Esmeralda realizes that Phoebus is not like the other soldiers and accepts to tell him her name as they move closer to each other, as pictured in this wonderfully rare employee-exclusive limited edition cel showcasing full-figure images from both characters from the acclaimed Disney animated film The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Taken from the 33:18 mark of the movie, this hand-painted and hand-inked limited edition cel was created from the original animation drawing by the skilled members of Walt Disney Studio's Ink & Paint Department to be distributed amongst members of the Feature Animation department. This limited-edition cel numbered 102 in the bottom right corner has Esmeralda standing at 6.75" tall next to a 7.25" Phoebus, showcased on a high-quality print of the scene's background. The cel is featured on a 23.25" x 17.25 glass-fronted frame with a 16" x 10" mat opening. A COA is included with this lot, and the cel shows a Walt Disney Feature Animation stamp in the bottom right corner. All frames are sold as-is.
