The Disney Animator's Series - "Celebrating Marc Davis" SOLD-OUT Hand-Painted Limited Edition Cel #214/375 (Walt Disney, 1999). This "Celebrating Marc Davis" limited edition cel is a tribute to the legendary Disney animator, featuring a collection of his most beloved characters. This exquisite piece, hand-painted on a 16" x 21" acetate at Walt Disney's renowned Ink and Paint Department in Burbank, showcases vivid portrayals of Maleficent, Cinderella, and Tinker Bell, measuring 8" x 14", 7" x 5.5", and 5" x 4" respectively. Central to the printed background is a poignant photo of Marc Davis with Walt Disney himself, surrounded by color pencil sketches of other iconic characters like Br'er Rabbit, Cruella De Vil, Alice, Briar Rose, Flower, a weasel from Ichabod and Mr. Toad, and the Little House. This masterpiece, framed to 26" x 31" and numbered 214/375, includes a Disney Certificate of Authenticity and a Disney seal on the cel. Originating from the private collection of Disney Legends Marc and Alice Davis, this sold-out cel, in Fine condition, embodies the creative spirit and enduring legacy of one of "Walt's Nine Old Men," celebrated by Walt Disney as his "Renaissance Man."
