    Description

Tarzan Employee-Only Limited Edition Cel #81 (Walt Disney, 1999). Walt Disney Studios had its world premiere of Tarzan at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles. This film had a hit score by Phil Collins. No production cels were used in this film, so a series of hand-painted cels made from original animation production drawings were painted exclusively for Disney Cast and Crew. This is an image of Baby Tarzan playing with his gorilla best friend Terk, in the rainforest off the Congolese Coast of Africa. It's a beautiful image of the two, measuring 7" and 8". The 16 field cel is on a print background for presentation purposes and bears a Disney Feature Film seal. This cute piece was hand-painted by the Disney Ink and Paint Department. Never sold to the public, these cels are extremely hard to find. Condition is Fine.
