Speed Racer "Go Speed Racer Go" Speed Racer Limited Edition Cel AP#20/20 (Speed Racer Enterprises, 1992). "Here he comes, here comes Speed Racer. He's a demon on wheels." We have in this lot a sensational hand-painted and hand-inked limited edition cel presenting the titular Speed Racer behind the wheel. The daring protagonist was inspired by the look of Elvis Presley in the movie Viva Las Vegas, where the King of Rock and Roll plays a Grand Prix driver. This emblematic image of Speed Racer is featured in a 18" x 15 mat, with an opening of 11.75" x 8.75". Extremely rare, this limited edition cel is an Artist Proof, numbered #20/20, and it features a Speed Racer seal in the bottom left corner and is signed by Ippei Kuri, Speed Racer's executive producer. The cel is featured on a printed background. Minor handling wear. In Very Good condition.
