DescriptionSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs Disney Portrait Gallery Series Dopey Limited Edition Cel 456/750 (Walt Disney, 1997). Featured here is the lovable Dopey from Walt Disney's 1937 animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, portrayed in this hand-inked, hand-painted limited edition cel from sequence 5A, scene 19. Dopey, originally animated by Disney Legend Inductee Fred Moore, was the second in a series of limited editions which recreate the look of rare original animation art initially released in 1938-39 by the Courvoisier Galleries in San Francisco. This cel is numbered 456 of an edition of 750 pieces, and this rare piece has been sold out for over 20 years. The artwork framed under Plexiglas with an overall size of 9.5" x 9.5". A certificate of authenticity issued by Walt Disney is included, and the cel bears a Walt Disney seal. The condition of the cel is Fine, and the frame is sold as is.
