Sleeping Beauty "Dance in the Clouds" SOLD-OUT 30'' x 11'' Limited Edition Cel #48/250 Signed by Disney Legend Eyvind Earle, COA Signed by Frank and Ollie (Walt Disney, 1959/1999). Long sold out and instantly recognizable, this limited edition Sleeping Beauty cel captures the film's finale as Flora and Merryweather continue their playful feud over Princess Aurora's gown. As Aurora and Prince Phillip waltz skyward, the dress flickers from blue to pink-exactly the moment celebrated in Walt Disney Art Classics' panoramic, hand-painted cel "Dance in the Clouds." Released in an edition of only 250, half show the gown shifting pink to blue, half blue to pink-an edition within an edition. This is the sought-after "Blue to Pink," numbered 48/250 and hand-signed by Disney Legend and Color Stylist Eyvind Earle (1916-2000). Derived from Sequence 21, Scenes 39 and 47, originally animated by Ken O'Brian, the cel presents three elegant images of the couple with character sizes ranging from 6" to 8". It is painted with 24 ink line colors and 27 Disney paint colors at the Disney Ink & Paint Department on the studio lot. Framed with an impressive 30'' x 11'' mat opening (overall 40" x 21"), it bears a Disney seal and includes a Certificate of Authenticity which is signed by Disney Legends, Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston.
